Bioteck® bone substitutes are obtained by applying an exclusive, avant-garde method of deantigenation to animal bone tissue.


The antigen component is actually removed from the animal tissue by means of the action of lithium enzymes at a constant temperature of 37°C.


The enzyme process does not only make the remaining mineral matrix perfectly biocompatible but also, taking place at natural temperature does not alter the physical and chemical characteristics. This means that the osteoclastic and osteoblastic cells recognise the matrix as endogenous once grafted, and remodel it, fully replacing it with newly-formed bone tissue.
