Introduction

Body's men picture.Bioteck® produces and merchandises its own products on the biomaterial market, applying its own and exclusive selective chemical - physical - enzymatic process at low temperature (37°C) trough which any kind of antigen is eliminated from the animal bone tissues avoiding the calcination phase. The utilised bone tissues are of equine origin. At present Bioteck® produces 4 lines of product which differ from one another for both their  use and features:

  • BIO-GEN®: equine bone tissue without collagen used in Odontostomatology;

  • OSTEOPLANT®: equine bone tissue with a highly load-resistant collagen used in orthopaedics and neuro-surgery;

  • OSTEOPLANT® FLEX: decalcified, flexible and mouldable equine bone tissue with collagen used in reconstruction surgery;

  • BIOCOLLAGEN®: lyophilized membrane of equine collagen used in guided bone regeneration.

All products are completely reabsorbable, CE0373 certified by the Italian Ministry of Health classified in CLASS 3. Bioteck®’s success is proven by the scientific results obtained and by the constant demand which confirms the reliability of the biomaterials.
