OX Granules

OX OSP-OX033-SPONG ok

Granular bone substitutes
are the most used, traditional format. Osteoxenon granular grafts are available as different formats.

As the other Osteoxenon devices
granules maintain the presence of native collagen, main feature of the advanced line.

Granular grafts are available as cancellous granules, cortical granules or a mixture of both.
Spongy granules remodels in 4-6 months, cortical granules in 8-12 months.

Cancellous granules should be grafted
in small, 4-walls cavities. If the volume is greater and bone walls are missing, cortical granules are preferred.

The mixture has both components
and can be used for all the applications.

The surgical blister
allows handling the product according to the proper surgical room procedures.

The OX line
is obtained through the same process of bone grafts manufacturing used in orthopedics and neurosurgery. Its main feature is the preservation of natural bone collagen in its native conformation. This gives the OX bone grafts the mechanical resistance typical of natural bone. It is an important feature, for example, in the manufacturing of rigid, tough block grafts. Moreover, thanks to native collagen, the regeneration process is facilitated by the several biological properties of this molecule.
