The preparation of OSTEOPLANT®

The osteoplant packaging picture.
Deantigenic bone tissue, demineralised, spongy or cortical of animal (equine) origin composed by:

  • not modified atomic structure mineral bone structure
  • type 1 collagen integral bone matrix

Deantigenated through protein elimination process: selective chemical-enzymatic at 37°C.
The demineralisation process follows an elettrolitic process on apathites accumulation. Material having insufficient load resistance.

Certifications:
  • CE 0373 certificate issued by the Superior Institute of Health of the Italian Ministry of Health
  • ISO 10993 issued in 1995 by the Clinic Physiopathology Institute of the University of Turin.
  

Indications:

  • Bone defects after taking from autologous sites.
  • Bone defects after removing cysts and cancers.
  • Pseudo-arthrosis.
  • Acetabuloplasty reconstruction in adults and children.
  • Osteotomies.
  • Bone defects due to loosening of prosthesis.
  • Support for platelet gel (P.R.P).
  • Osteosynthesis implants.
