It is a natural bone conductive material without collagen, deantigenised and derived from animal bone, which is completely absorbable. BIO-GEN® guarantees an elevated level of bone genesis thanks to the absence of the calcification process within the production process, that occurs through physical and chemical processes at a maximum temperature of 130°C in a humid environment. The final bone tissue, constituted of bone mineral matrix which is unmodified at the atomic structural level, is offered in granules (cortical and spongy) and in blocks derived from femoral bone sections.

Natural equine bone tissue for odontological uses for implants and for reconstructive surgery of bone defects. The mixture of the cortical and spongy components allows the obtaining modulation of the osteogenetic physiological response.

  

BIO-GEN® granular mix
 

Natural bone tissue with the same characteristics of spongy and granular BIO-GEN, which is made up of a calibrated mixture of cortical and spongy bone tissue with cortical grains of 0.5 mm and spongy grains of 1 mm.

  • Lightly spray the product with the physiological solution utilising the syringe.

THE ABSORPTION TIME OF GRANULAR BIO-GEN®

 

The mixing of the two tissues in differing percentages allows for the modulation of the absorption times.
  • Spongy: 4 - 6 months.
  • Cortical: 8 - 12 months.
