The preparation of OSTEOPLANT®

The osteoplant packaging picture.
Deantigenic spongy or cortical bone tissue of animal (swine or equine) origin composed by:

  • mineral bone matrix with non-modified atomic structure
  • type 1 collagen integral bone matrix

Deantigenation: protein elimination process: selective chemical-enzymatic at 37°C.
The lack of demineralization phases during the process, enable to obtain a highly load resistant bone tissue.

  • syringe with sterile physiological solution;
  • Spongy osteoplant®.

HYDRATION
Step 2 picture.
  • Sprinkle a little sterile physiological solution on the product with the syringe.
The osteoplant preparation step 3.
Step 3 picture.
  • After an immersion of about 1-2 minutes the product is ready for the application.
